The Paulding County Board of Education unanimously approved the FY2027 Budget, investing in students, teachers, and schools across the district. The budget supports the opening of Crossroads Elementary School, school safety enhancements, technology infrastructure, employee salary step increases, and continued facility improvements through E-SPLOST, including major renovations at South Paulding High School.

Paulding County School District to Establish Its Own Police Department Focused on School Safety
Paulding County, GA — The Paulding County (PCSD) Board of Education approved a resolution on May 19, 2026, to establish the Paulding County School District Police Department, a dedicated law enforcement agency focused exclusively on protecting the district’s 31,000 students, 4,000 staff, and campus visitors.
